You know the comment we hear "the vast income or wage difference' in this country, and the political Left wanting to make things more equal….

Do they EVER take things apart and look at them? No doubt the Google, Microsoft, Apple, and all the other new wealth created largely from the 1980's has changed the wealth measure in this country. But should we penalize by increasing taxes the middle incomes because the top income and wealth folks are SO VERY High that their numbers skew all the others….the very poor and low income pay little or no Federal Income Taxes…..

Maybe we should decrease the middle income earners income taxes, and add a National Sales Tax or a yearly National Use Tax on property/possessions for things like yachts/houses/property etc over $5 million.....

That might even out things financially.

When we see headlines like this:
GOOGLE founder buys $45 million super yacht...

We've just got to wonder if these figures of the "Super Wealthy" people are added into ALL the Government numbers that show that the average every day people are "falling into poverty"….. Heck, with numbers like that at the top of the heap, most of the citizens of this country would qualify for food stamps and other government handouts.

Plus, buying something like this doesn't count to his income. Probably a business expense.

We should take the top 5000 Wealthiest people in the country, look at their overall estimated Wealth, set that aside….and then look at the ACTUAL "income" each of them claims every year. Wealth and Income are two entirely different things. It would be quite interesting to see the actual numbers of both Wealth and Income for each of our Wealthiest people.
