I think the whole issue is pretty stupid, myself.

I think we have probably outgrown our love affair with guns- other Western democracies seem to do better with violence than we do. But I don't think the cold dead finger crowd can deal with anything else- so I say, do whatever is possible to limit guns, and their fire power, in the population, since they are so often stolen, and used in teen suicides, and that's about all we can do.

So whether it's an uzi or a glock doesn't really matter- at least not to me. I just find the strict constructionists arguing for high firepower to be really funny- probably one of the few funny things about the whole issue.
