Ted, most of the country is sane, even among the (R)'s.

I don't agree. I think there are a lot of insane and quasi insane people in this country. Worse........too many Ameriasn are uninformed or misinformed.

If the vast majority of this country were sane, we would not see the kind of insane acts we see on a regular basis in this country. And sadly, we have become all too inured to these insane acts.

They've held their tongues, not criticizing those on their "team". But, when the Tea Party has lost Ten, it's LOST

The teaparty should never have had Ten in the first place. That's what's so worrisome.

Maybe it's time to bring back the "Fairness Doctrine"? Whatever it takes, these rabble-rousers need to be PUT DOWN like the rabid dogs they ARE. The Limbaughs, the Becks, the Hannitys, the Palins and every little local market neo-Nazi trying to out-crazy the next needs to be reigned IN.

The moderate Rs are afraid of the rabble rousers. They will never admit it but any objection by a rabble rouser results in an immediate retraction by a moderate. The moderate Rs are very weak. There are not many David Frums who are willing to stand up and disagree.

These are very scary times. Do not underestimate how far we have gone down the wrong track.
