SANTIAGO, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Chile copper refiner Refimet has lifted the force majeure it declared on its deliveries on October 29, its sales manager said on Tuesday.

Refimet's Ricardo Olivares said the company had lifted the measure on Monday after it received assurances from oxygen supplier Air Liquide <AIRP.PA> that it had fixed a glitch in its own plant.

Air Liquide developed problems on October 21 after a blackout, which crippled the flow of oxygen to Refimet's foundry.

The lack of oxygen cut Refimet's capacity of handling 1,200 dry tonnes of copper concentrates a day by as much as 70 percent while the gas shortage persisted.

Olivares added that Refimet was back to full capacity by Tuesday. "Recovery is pretty quick in these cases," he added.

Refimet produces between 160,000 and 170,000 tonnes of fine copper a year at its plant in northern Chile, which is owned by the local Noemi family and Canada's Noranda <NOR.TO> and Barrick Gold <ABX.TO>.
