I dont think there is much chance of that. Holding US bonds are the only big winner the Japanese have.....not only are they getting big capital gains (to use as margin) and over 6 % interest, which is enormous by Japanese standards, but they also get the benefit of the appreciating dollar this year.....it is a triple whammy, a hat-trick if you will, in favor of the Japanese BUYING even more US Bonds...That trade continues to be a big winner for them, and they cant afford to let it go........IMHO......;^)
