Me, too.
I get SS, Medicare, air traffic controllers, meat inspectors, a bookmobile, sheriff, Calfire, Highway 101, border guards, prison guards, accurate meters at the gas station, accurate scales at the Farmers Market, teachers for my granddaughters...and stuff. Plus the internet, pictures of weather from space, swine flu vaccines for them that wants, AIDs drugs for dem dat needs, safer hospitals and other workplaces, clean water, cleaner air, and somebody to plow snow off the roads when necessary.
For that, I had to put up with paying for legions stationed in occupied Korea, black choppers filled with marijuana warriors, & subsidies for Big Oil. It's prolly a fair trade. |
