The September 18 Aerospace Daily reports that a Russian firm, Aviaconversia, was at the August Moscow Air Show marketing a portable GPS/Glonass jamming device. Weight 8-12 kilograms (but the next model will be half that weight). Interference range: Up to 200 km (!). Can be used selectively via a directional antenna. Trying to sell it in the Middle East. According to the report, "there were indications that the Russian military has successfully jammed a unit with 'P-Codes,' or military, capability." And just in time for when he needs it, too.
