1/14/11 Contest Update
Quite a few of the Contest portfolios came flying out of the gate, with the Contest median’s Friday close showing a 4.49% gain for the first two weeks of 2011. This beat the 3.86% YTD gain for the Nasdaq Composite Index and the 3.22% YTD gain for the Nasdaq Biotech Index.
Super-charged by CRIS, our Contest leader is RRGE’s portfolio, up an astounding 17.97% for the year’s first two weeks. The two-week gains of No. 2 ROBERT’s portfolio, up 12.97% YTD and No. 3 MCBIO’s portfolio, up 12.50% YTD, are almost as remarkable.
At Friday's close, 36 of the 38 Contest portfolios were in the black with 27 of the 38 beating the NBI.
