The only real competition to the LGE/ZE digital chip set will be from the chips developed by Lucent Technologies and Mitsubishi. However, this product is at least six months behind LGE/ZE in terms of market introduction. Television, as we know it, will be dead in the 21st Century. The future is high quality monitors/display units coupled to digital set-top boxes (old label)/personal servers (suggested new label). The CE tech game is moving at the speed of light. Fortunately, Zenith is teamed up with a warp-speed player.
