Thanks for the downer pictures but that's just fine as "the truth always hurts".. We need more hurt to drive home the truth.. But the problem is that unless the hurt hits home, the truth never hurts.. Like in wars and all that sh!t.. So we will keep doing them because not enough get hurt close to home..
But anyway, I got off the track as usual but quicker than usual but what's new..
Climate change is REAL but it hasn't hurt enough of US up here where we are contributing FAR more than our share of the human component to it.. There has always been natural cycles of warming and cooling, but why should "we" add to it.. Speed it up?.. Pour more coal on the fire in the naturally warm summertime?
NO... So it just make no sense to me at all to continue our way of life without changes...
And why do "we" politicize it?
Repubs, regressives, cons, neocons or whatever they call themselves are in the deniers camp, deniers being that human activity contributes to climate change or that it is occurring at all.. Most of the others are on the other side.. So doesn't the former group basically require the same life environment as the latter do??.. Or their future generations do..
I would think so..
So my conclusion is they, the deniers, just don't give a sh!t at all as they are so selfish.. Or that they are so indoctrinated by their particular religion, that they can do no wrong themselves.. They have no warts, they need no self examination, no reflection, etc. for their actions.. They are in "Gods image" in their own minds so therefore perfect..:(
PS: The above explanations also apply to why we are in these tragic wars.. They, the wars, just don't hurt the bastards that are waging them enough.. We need that hurt spread around a lot.. And THAT applies to both sides.. When "my side", if I have a side, complains, many ONLY complain about the monetary, financial cost and NOT the cost to humanity, other living things and to the environment..
