duh! Obama can only be considered "smart" if you view his actions through the prism of a person trying to undermine the standing of the USA. If that is not his aim, then he is the dullest knife in the drawer. To suggest that France was our greatest ally is nutty. Of course, radical lefties like Obama have no concept of real history and just make things up as they go along. This displays a real contempt for the American public and his own constituency. To put it more bluntly, these Democrats, starting with Obama, really think their supporters are stupid. [I tend to agree, since anyone who buys their BS can't be functioning with a full deck. One need only review the efforts of the media following the Arizona killings to recognize the stupidity.)
