I saw the original article in the Daily Mail, UK. They say it is because William and Kate want a lot of sup[porters of their charities there, and it is not a stat occasion. Then it says Sarkozy and wife might be invited. Invitations out next month. If Obama were to be invited, the Secret Service, etc. would have to have begun planning long ago.

I do believe the Brits are classy enough to put "not a state occasion" on it.
