Weddings are a personal affair for both the bride and groom whether you are royalty or not royalty.

Being so the list of guests are often purged of people who will not enhance the bride and groom's comfort nor that of their guests.

I have been through this on a family level------no one was invited just because they 'should be invited' because of 'position or their perceived position '.

On a practical security level, why would any bride and groom want all of the major heads of state in one place at the same time.

Certainly we have television and internet capability that can beam the whole event to anyone who wishes to be there or to see the event-------including Mrs. Obama and Mr. obama.
