Alex,

To me, THDO would be a speculative play at best. In such a bad market, I'm a little hesitant. But in a good market, I think I'd plunk down some money for some shares. You are right...there
is such a glut of good games out now, it seems a shame that Uprising won't be able to pull in more money. Look at what happened to Zork GI! Well, at least it got my dollars!

Only brand names like Quake II, Jedi Knight, Tomb Rader II, and a handful
of games like Age of Empires, etc. will make big money on the PC platform this Christmas. I'm afraid other great games will get lost in the shuffle.

I think ATVI needs to promote Heavy Gear to make people realize that
this is THE successor to the Mechwarrior series. Make some noise, you know?

BTW, it turns out that Pitfall 3D and Apocalypse has slipped to next year. A bummer because they could have been super hot sellers on the PSX. Although we have Car and Driver and Nightmare creatures, I don't
think it will cut it this year. Hopefully, the PC platform games will generate enough revenue to make up for the lost time. As a note, Bruce Willis sold around half of the shares he acquired when he signed on with ATVI....I don't know what that means but it could have something to do with the slipped target date. Brue Willis' scanned in
face isn't novel anymore...Look at the Star Trek game coming out
where Shatner and Co. are scanned in, or the new game Men in Black.
Oh well.

Analysts have been saying that
the consolidation in this industry might slow since most deals are done with stock. Since stock is selling at a discount now, we
might not see much activity in the near term. What I'm hoping, however, is that other companies wake up and see that they could potentially miss out on a great company like ATVI and get nervous about waiting too long. I hope SEVL works out for you!

Well, this stream of consciousness has just about run out ;)

Good luck and I hope you are able to pick up some bargains in the near term!

Eagerly awaiting Heavy Gear...my only MUST-HAVE for Christmas...
(I already have my other must-have...ZGI! ;)
