PC WEEK ARTICLE IS FALSE - I HAVE PROOF!

Scott Hansen, the Deputy General Manager of Mitsubishi's Mobile Computing Division has sent letters to the editor of PCWeek requesting a correction for the false and "half-baked" statements.

I quote:

"Mitsubishi Electronic Corporation has been selling Pedion notebook computers with Ultralife's solid polymer battery in Japan since October..... the malfunction of the engineering sample... was NOT CUASED BY THE BATTERY. All of the production Pedion units have passed UL safety requirements."

"Mitsubishi Electronics stands by its decision to use Ultralife's batteries and plans to incorporate solid polymer technology into future products"

The PCWeek article by John Spooner was obviously a "half-baked" ploy to derail Ultralife and lithium polymer technology!
