So how do we like Winter so far, folks ... top of the season to all

Not much of a pullback in the metals, a bit more on the stocks [ouch on ogc.to], but we had it coming, that was a real run all through fall, right to new year's ... lot of people likely waiting for the new tax year to take profit, i did some of that, haven't traded in any grand manner though, mostly just holding main picks, playing with speckies on movement, off a few when they're up, add some when they're down, or keep trying anyway, have to keep up the 50 trades per month one way or another

'30 baggers' - um, can't think of any certain-sure ones right off, lol ... amz.v, ckg.v, dmm.to all have excellent chances of 30-baggers overall, but they have a few bags into them already, 30 more would be a neat trick ... the ultimate '11 pick will be one we're not thinking of just yet, as usual, possibly one of the lowly side-efforts for those of us who carry broader collections, but probably not in most cases

I think in doubles, triples, anything better is gravy, and you can always move the goalposts in mid-game anyway, you have to do that regularly anyway ... there's good double material all around, i like fvi.to/mmz.to/usa.v for silver and the base metals they always come with, dmm.to top pick for gold but meantime it's a politics play, aargh, be good to see that side of it dealt with ... ogc.to - how about that for politics, fine otherwise ['other than that, Mrs Lincoln, what do you think of the play']

adg.v, ntr.v, fcv.v, aln.v - these four, and at least one other i don't recall at the moment, are trading strongly below open gaps, i expect all these gaps to close, and for good reason in each case ... three are Yukon plays, their whole sector is sold off and ready to be reborn into spring, the fourth, Focus, is a Ridgway play so nearly the same thing for those who knew him there

Eric Coffin on the Yukon, ah perfect timing - mineweb.com

ktn.v - still in front rank of my pure explorers, they could graduate to developer pretty soon, they've got more going on at Promontorio than people give them credit for ... Sprott noticed, and bought in, for those who missed that

gpd.to/fcv.v/gqc.v - numbers two through four, all roughly same size

Just counted up separate tickers in most accts, there's 69 so far ... aargh, this is what comes of keeping a few house-money shs of the speckies you play through the year ... sometimes not so wise, like with cui.v, came back more than halfway, but things like epl.v are a little more encouraging

Robbie Burns day a week off, seasonality says that's a good time to start looking at oil and gas, for entries somewhere around Valentine's day, then ride energy till Empire day ... sold right out of Suncor su.to first day of the year, as usual, januaries are rarely good to it, of course so far it's trying to disprove the theory ... got some sde.v on account of the names on the board, Antony Grad Wiebe etc, who will mean something to teevee ... got fei.to, ver.v, tt.to as special situation momo picks ... eug.v - ton of Eurogas, and it's starting to warm up too, just noticed this, hmmm

This has been a three-beer post, so pardon if it's disjointed ... do we get a major crash in broad markets this year, this is the question, and i don't have the answer ... in any case, come hell or high water, whether steadily or in spurts, They will continue to render the fiat currencies ever more meaningless by printing either overtly or covertly ... this Ah Believe - youtube.com
