Sarah Palin: “I will take the darts and arrows because I know others have my back”

I've watched most of the episodes of "Sarah Palin's Alaska" and despite the carping that Palinphobes utter about it and her, I think it reveals her to be a genuine, grounded person.

Not a stuffed shirt. Not a philanderer. Not a racist. Not a hollow orator. Not trivial.

In short, nothing of what they say about her. And everything that they are not.

Could--and for that matter, should--she become President? The voters will decide that.

I haven't decided she's the best candidate, but I have concluded that she is up to the job.

And certainly she is better than what we have now.
