Basically, I think about the long term, and don't worry about day-to-day swings very much. I just don't have the time. Just knowing that all the financial stocks are so beat up, I know I will make my profit at some point, and it will be taxed at 15%. I know I could probably make money by trading it, but holding just suits my personality I guess. I also have good growth stocks like QCOM and SNDK that help ease the pain when FAS goes down. I also have had AAPL for about a year. Other than that I have quite a bit in energy stocks (BP, CVX, APC, HAL, OXY, EPD) which pay dividends and should make something over time.
