QCOM $85bn
NOK $39bn

If QCOM reaches $90bn and NOK falls to $30bn then Qualcomm will be THREE times the market capitalisation of Nokia. The trend looks as though that could happen since it is not so long since Qualcomm first equaled Nokia's market capitalisation and even less since lapping it.

With mirasol coming on stream it should not be all that long before Qualcomm exceeds Apple's market capitalisation.

Selling 1 billion mirasols per year at $100 would be $100 billion per year revenue and about $80 billion per year profit. At 10:1 market capitalisation that would put QCOM at about $800 billion. Add in some chip sales and it is still possible that Qualcomm will be the first $1 trillion company.

With multiple screens for different devices, that could be understating how many people would buy. People might have 5 different screens of different sizes depending on the use and replace them on average every couple of years. Machines such as petrol pumps might have mirasol screens with a lot more information than just the litres and price. The petrol pump could be a transaction site with touch screen.

Parking meters need a better interface with touch screen. Restaurant menus could be touch screen self ordering information devices with billing built in. Any outdoor electronic information needs mirasol.
