Slider, we don't have capitalism anywhere on the planet. Here in the USA we have a mixture of fascism (also called mercantilism or corporatism) and socialism. Every nation-state on the planet has some sort of central bank attempting to plan its economy and each also has a fiat currency. Government intervenes in business in so many ways that political entrepreneurs are usually more successful than entrepreneurs without government connections

However, you are correct that the current system of fascism/socialism exploits those that are not members of the club (think George Carlin; youtube.com.
