Interesting development adds on another layer of observation to my following of this matter.

In late 2004, China stated it had depleted its left-over silver stockpile mentioned in this discussion, and that was soon followed by AIG's resignation of silver chairmanship on LME that put Hank Greenberg in a situation with a fallout we all know. In reference to this current discussion, there are some significant speculations could be made.

One is the Rothchilds turned into physical gold hoarder in that time period as it resigned from the LME gold chairmanship soon after AIG's deed. It would be really great if someone, or an organization, could look into the CFTC OI data set, or alike ones, to gain some further evidence to draw really profitable conclusions. The other is a related, but quite complicated, issue of political economics if it's really, or the probability, as the sources discussed that China has been taking delivery of silver. This needs further study.

Anyway, a fascinating development!
