I have more doubt. Capital intensity is rising rapidly with each new node. Large capital output for equipment increases bits per wafer markedly but not so much actual wafer capacity.

22 nm without EUV will be an expensive multi pass endeavor. Multiple immersion DUV passes for each critical layer and many critical layers.
