A lot cheaper and easier, IMO, to buy the crop up and turn it into Morphine. Solve the problem while cutting the cost of Morphine here in half.

Wouldn't there be a lot of black market poppy fields? When I was in the woods back east during the 60s, there were bootleg tobacco fields way off the beaten track. They supplied the demand that didn't want to pay the tax.
