This is the update of the Bookings, Billings and BtB data tables incorporating the data released by SEMI for the month of December 2010.

The data for December allows for comparison of the year 2010 to previous years at the bottom line. The Bookings for the year of over 18B compares almost identically with the year 2006. The YoY change of 203 percent compared to 2009 reversed 3 years of sharply falling Bookings. For the past 3 months, Bookings have remained in the 1.5 to 1.6 Billing dollar range which hopefully will continue or increase as 2011 unfolds.

Billings increased 145 percent from last year to 16.7B+. It looks like the suppliers pushed hard in December to substantially surpass the November number by almost 150M and produce the highest monthly number for the year.

The large Billings number in December caused the BtB number to decrease to 0.90 for the month. This makes 3 months in a row that Billings has been above Bookings which eats into the Backlog.
