I can sure see a heart transplant as much more necessary than paying for a sex-change....which it looks like the city council in San Fran are thinking of doing. Who paid for Steve Jobs liver transplant? Should only rich people have every kind of medical service they want/need? We are walking down a very slippery slope when we have the government pay for everything. Who is to make the decision of separating Siamese Twins? And all the other things like that?
