Yeah, look what he did to the USSR .. but Obama is trying to put them back together again. Speaking of energy, you remember what happened there during Reagan's administration? I do. Everyone in the industry remembers 1986, the natural gas bubble that lasted and lasted and lasted, the layoffs here in Houston, empty strip centers for years, ... Obama is pursuing policies designed to raise energy prices - that'll help real estate prices here. And eventually jobs ..... not in the GOM, but there's oil lots of other places and the industry is run out of Houston.
