Thanks for noting that the data was useful to you. I like to review the data over a long period of time to see the trends change.

For instance, the table now covers a complete 20 year period of Bookings and Billings. For the 10 year period from 1991 through 2000, when comparing year to year bottom line results, only 1 year(1998) was a "down year" compared to the previous year. During the next 10 years from 2001 through 2010, 6 of the years were down for Bookings and Billings compared to the previous year while only 4 years were positive.

There could be several reasons for this behavior, but IMO the main reason is the "maturing" of the semi equip sector in the second ten years compared to the "growth" period of the 1st 10 years.
