They are kids, so you outhink them. Raising children is easy. Just be nice and smart with them. When they are young and get difficult it is real easy to distract the kids attention using humor. A lot easier on the kid too. Once I had a high school class out to get me (normal for substituTe teachers). Half Hispanic farm workers and half farm owners kids. Teacher was real right winger. I showed a documentary on Ceaser Chavez. White kids did not understand how highly regarded Chavez is in the Hispanic community. Documentary started showing Chavez leading a Mariachi band leading striking grape farm workers. Farm kids laughed. We had a few scuffels and they were as quiet as lambs the rest of the week-lol. PS: I did not eat table grapes for years because chavez asked us not to.
