Politicians of the WashDC variety are not good at biting bullets - unlike Cameron in the U.K. who seems to be holding to his guns for the most part. Frankly, taxes are not the biggest threat to my well being (and I believe the rest of us here) - it is a fiscal melt down of our nation that I believe we are well on our way to. How this compromise is reached I have no idea. What politician will want to run on a platform of pain?
