The Volt is a do-anything, go-anywhere car. Jump in it and drive from San Francisco to NYC. The Leaf is a toy for George Clooney types, deep-pocketed eco-warriors.

When it runs out of juice, their personal assistants (probably following in a gas vehicle), can get Clooney where he needs to be and arrange for a tow truck to pick up the Leaf. Maybe Clooney will have his assistant follow IN a tow truck! Even for the Clooney-types, I'll bet the Leaf will quickly be retired to the garage or the used car lot.

I really can't see where anyone with even minimal sense will buy a Leaf. It's just not ready for real life and real driving.

21 hours for a full charge on house current? A car that you can just drive every OTHER day? LOL!
