Half the classes I went into were difficult when I was substitute teaching. They are kids, so you outhink them.

Raising children is easy. Just be nice and smart with them. When they are young and get difficult it is real easy to distract the kids attention using humor. A lot easier on the kid too.

As a teacher, that's good advise but is not always doable. And I refuse to believe that you were able to be effective without at times having to resort to discipline. However, I doubt you will tell the truth in this forum.
