I tried calling around to dentists to price their services for crowns. They all charge the same thing. In my area, advertising services would not change the fees of docs and dentists. Waiting times are long for appointments. They have no reason to cut prices.

I am noticing, though, the discounted offers for scans, mammograms, etc. in my area, too. For preventive care, this is great. Emergency care and routine surgeries, though, one will pay the max I suspect.

There is a large diagnostic clinic in my area that does offer a 20% discount on all office visits (not lab work) to anyone without health insurance.
