[Intel] There's still light in Light Peak Stephen Hardy \| Lightwave \| Jan 20, 2011 By now you may have heard that Intel will offer a copper version of Light Peak, its 10-Gbps interconnect technology for consumer applications (see "Intel plots Light Peak interconnect revolution"). While the news made me wonder whether the project has hit a snag, one of the Light Peak component suppliers tells me that the decision to pursue the copper version was customer driven.
