Anax,

Seems to me GUMM's value has eluded you...This company is unique in that the FDA approval they have belongs to noone else.
Gum has a distinct advantage in delivering OTC products through the process of sublingual adsorption which reportedly gets nutrient, medicine etc to the blood stream faster than anything but injection and in greater dosage than conventional methods...Why do you think the #2 producer of gum in the world has signed up w/GUMM to jointly develop product?

The price of this stock has nothing to do with past sales and little to do w/ current for that matter. It is the potential that counts...I think you will find 1998 to be an incredible year...growth potential abounds and Nabisco is only going to be one of their "partners"...other, potentially larger deals will likely soon surface. "Niche gumm" doesn't paint the true picture...this is instead a pleasant and highly effective dispenser of OTC drugs,vitamins,etc...big difference! Can't you see the value of that as the boomers reach 50 years young.

Your conjecture of sales stuffing is unwarranted and baseless....In fact reorders for cigarrest have been impressive...and is really just getting started...This is only the 1st quarter for this product! You can bet they will target the nicotine market too. Kern has put together a highly effective European and Asian team to develop overseas markets...One would have to believe that the Chinese smoking market dwarfs our own!

Based on announcements to date I wouldn't short a share of this stock for anything, particularly at 9 3/4....I predict, that the deal with Nabisco portends even greater things down the road. But that that deal alone makes this a far more valuable stock than it is currently priced...This will become obvious as they ramp up manufacturing capacity.

Mike
