Not sure what AMGN is thinking with this one. Aside from the cancer vaccine issue (completely new territory for Amgen, too) itself, BioVex went to P3 from a fairly small P2. There had to be better odds in biotechville for AMGN at these prices.

My Mom owns AMGN, and I am not happy about this one. Abgenix hasn't worked for them, either. Their M&A team is losing their edge.
