[Positive News?]
Richard:
I can't remember, in over 30 years of investing, when so much supposedly positive news, so many positive buys and strong buys by several brokerage houses, etc. etc. has resulted in such a Street response in a stock, namely WSTL. Since the merger announcement with AMTX, the stock has lost 30% of its value-in just one month!.
I think a number of people who particpate and lurk on this thread has been had, including me. I'm beginning to wonder if the only announcement that we will get, is a revision in the AMTX merger announcement, where the 1.2 billion capitalization figure so proudly touted by WSTL for the combined company has been revised downward to the present 800 million evaluation.
I'm also beginning to wonder if our esteemed leader, Mr. Gary Seamans flat out lied to us about the now infamous and mysterious unannounced contracts. If we don't hear something from WSTL or at least something about one of these contracts by the end of Comdex, then the stock price is going down the tubes for sure.
There has to be a point in the merger agreement with AMTX, which states that if the stock price of WSTL falls below a certain level, then the deal is off. Certainly the major stock holders of AMTX (i.e. Cioffi), value their company higher than some level which may be reached soon. This whole situation has me feeling really bitter about the company and its management.
