Why would Obama be moving up in polls? Its worth thinking about. What has he done lately? Well, he extended the Bush tax rates. I'd bet that would help him out. His administration said they're going back to military commission for terrorists. Cheney recently praised Obama for realizing the Bush national security policies were right. And its clear he isn't going to close Gitmo. Another plus for him. He's been pretending to move to the center (like the regulatory review sham he announced) .... even though its a fake, he'll fool some people. Then again, he's been most visible on vacation in HA ... not having him in Washington, should help his poll numbers too.
