Uh....and why are Mexico's gun control laws ineffective? Because they have powerful drug gangs with little respect for the law. Who get their guns from the US and then sell Americans their drugs. And if you read carefully what I originally said.........the US is the most violent First World nation. So you give me Mexico and SA....both third world countries with underlying problems: Mexico....see above. SA.....just coming out of apatheid where the colored are living in deep poverty. Of course there is going to be violence. SA is lucky it hasn't had a revolution. Bottom line: Gun control laws in first world countries work.
