Let's hope it work, but all it takes is one activist, left-wing federal judge to overturn state laws, state legislatures, governors, and registered voters. We have seen it happen many times in recent years. -ng-

An activist federal judge would likely rule that a certificate of live birth is all that's need to prove citizenship, or some other such nonsense.

Bottom line: States with new eligibility laws would be best advised to prepare to place their cases on the fast track to the SCOTUS, because such laws will not be tested until the last minute, and they may run out of time if/when a district court judge rules against them.
