That was a great story. I think I am going to cry... after I run outside and breathe deeply to get over my claustrophobia.

Read the LaPorte, Indiana story again. This is an NEC application that uses Identix scanners. The article includes a quote from an NRID official about the nationwide need due to Kennedy-Kassebaum, but does not specifically discuss NRID's involvement at LaPorte, Indiana hospital because there is none. Trust me on this one. I am pretty sure it was in one of the recent BSHUG newsletters.
