What was so great when the bull market started in 1982? Well, thats not when the current bull market started.But it was close to the previous one...I think your off by about 2-3 years? Just because the the long term chart of the DOW made progress this doesn't signal the beginning of a bull market. It has steadily risen since 1933. I hate to remember back that far....but I do remember the 2x interest rates and 2x inflation. As I was taught, there are 3 phases to each bull/bear market ,yes it is hard to recognise the beginning and ends, the phases have certain characteristics. Just take a college course or read something. JJ JJ
