Hi Graystone,
>>>Old people should stick to the "ounces in the ground" approach to investing. Us young inexperienced investors buy the cheap stocks that prove up the ounces in the ground by a process called "exploration", this drives the price up and we sell them to people who want to buy on the peak like you. The old fogies feel better when they lose their money, the got the "ounces", we get their money and the world turn<<<
If you're trying to make a point with feline I don't believe it's neccesary to abuse a group of people that have nothing to do with your particular disagreement.
I have one additional piece of wisdom on my side, I am now older and realize that "old fogies" eventually get even, how ?, well it's real simple you can't appreciate it yet however one day you will wake up and realize you are old. The difference is, I now understand that I'm a hell of a lot smarter and wiser than I was many years ago whereas you guys still have to figure it out. Oh, by the way, here's the good news for that eventual day, everything still works.
