I don't know, maybe Rick Rule is the younger brother of Charles Rule, antitrust chief in the Reagan administration, apologist for Microsoft before the Senate committee, and currently employed by Microsoft "on unrelated matters".

I liked Dvorak's summary of the Microsoft case. One thing about Microsoft, their positions may not be consistent from day to day or case to case, but the company line du jour gets consistent restatement in all forums. Maybe it's that bedlam3 mailing list that Moody talked about.
