Is the Islamist Brotherhood behind the street protests in Egypt? Very unfortunate that the O administration is in power at this time. Carter's refusal to help the Shaw of Iran resulted in the Ayatollah's rise to power. We are probably watching the same scenario unfold in Egypt right now. It appeared as though democratic 'student' forces had spawned the revolution but that was merely a cover for extreme Muslim factions to take control of Iran's gov.
