It has assets of over $2 trillion dollars. There are however powerful interest groups and the people who are being duped into spreading fear mongering propaganda (dupes provide free labor) in an effort to privatise the program so that the $2 trillion dollars is handed over to investment bankers to "manage" for their clients. Is it true that they will forgo fees for this service?
