Sankar: << I believe the quarter was over on Sept 30 and they have the earnings estimates by now>>

The quarter just ended 12 days ago, October 31.

If you've followed my posts, I've stated the reasons for the shortfall in the third quarter, which is why there will be a loss. The customers that were responsible are their largest. What they are saying, is that the issues that have effected them negatively in the last 2 quarters are now resolved and they have record backlog, which may lead to record revenues and earnings which will surpass expenses leading to profitablity once again. What it also implies to me is that if those customers are back to normal ordering and they have record backlog, then the other areas of the company must have picked up steam but went unnoticed in the last 2 quarters. (just my opinion)

As far as Volpe buying stock now, it would be illegal and be considered frontrunning if they bought stock now, as they are privy to significant, non-public information.

If you are so bent on the company and it's guidence, why don't you short it on the gap up in the AM?
