One of the things that many people overlook is that today's Muslim militants adher to the concept of "Dar Al-Islam" (house of Islam). Once a territory has fallen to Islamic forces, it is forever considered "Dar Al-Islam" even if it later falls into the hands of the "Kaf'fir" (unbelievers). Thus, Sri Lanka will forever be considered as part of Dar Al-Islam in militant muslim eyes. The same can be said of Spain and part of France to extent of Poitiers, where they were defeated by Charles the Hammer. And, of course, this also includes Palestine, despite the fact that Jews inhabited that territory long before Muhammad was a twinkle in his daddy's eye. There can be NO PEACE in the eyes of Militant Islam so long as these territories remain in non-Muslim hands.
