If you're into cycle theory, here is a book I HIGHLY recommend:

"The Fourth Turning", by William Strauss & Neil Howe, 1997, Broadway Books.

It's not concerned so much with financial things, per se, but with the larger picture repeating demographic cycles in Western civilization. I found it fascinating.
