Salazar Will Drill 20,000 Metres At Curipamba In 2011

January 26, 2011

Dear shareholders and friends:

As president and chief executive officer of Salazar Resources Ltd., I wish you all a successful and happy new year and I am writing to briefly comment on the goals and objectives we have set for ourselves at Salazar for the coming year.

The company's exploration activities over the past year at Curipamba were very promising and we plan on building on these successes.

Starting in February, with the mobilization of our second drill rig, we plan to continue with an agressive drill program in Ecuador with a focus on Curipamba where we plan to drill 20,000 metres.

Ecuador's social and economical climate has improved in the last several months; we continue to have excellent working relationships with the regional authorities and our community programs have further strengthened the company's profile in the region. We are working closely with the local communities by reacting to their needs and maintaining open and ongoing discussions. We are working diligently to ensure that we have the backing and support of the local communities to become an active and welcomed partner by contributing to the community's economic and social well being.

The metallurgical test programs for the El Domo deposit were initiated in late October, 2009, and the program is ongoing. Preliminary conclusions are anticipated by the beginning of the second quarter 2011.

We look forward to an exciting year as we continue to follow up on other exploration targets at Curipamba including Sesmo Sur, La Vaquera, Agua Santa, Sesmo and to the East of the El Domo intrusion. We also plan to work on other potential mining projects such as Santiago and Ruminahui where we expect to have final permits by the end of the first quarter of 2011.
