Observations on recent events.
Our 2 cents on Egypt, Davos and the market action late last week. Mubarak learns that even a well organized despot can not continue if people decide to end their voluntary servitude. In Davos, a celebratory mood is akin to waving a huge red flag for investors. We comment on a few astonishing quotes from there. Stocks meanwhile suffer a break that may be more serious than it looks at first glance.
